To launch the new website it needs to be connected it to your domain. This is done by updating the domain nameserver (DNS) records on the domain name.
There are two ways to accomplish this.
1. Transfer the Domain to Solutio's Registrar
By transferring your domain to our registrar we will manage all your DNS records and ensure your website stays live. Sponsorship sites can have the cost of up to 3 domains covered by us. You can request DNS changes at any time or transfer the domain from our registrar as needed.
The primary reason to have us manage your domains is so the website stays live and there is no need to worry about managing it. We also cover the cost of most domains for our clients.

2. We help you or your tech support company make the DNS changes
If you want to continue managing your domain, we can send you the necessary DNS changes to launch your new website.
Some clients have their domains managed by a third-party tech support company. Your Tech support company should be familiar with domains and be able to make the necessary changes for us without much difficulty.
If your domain is currently managed by your former website host or developer and you will no longer require their services after the new site is launched, I recommend transferring your domain to our registrar.
You or your tech support company will also continue to be responsible for renewing the domains. We will not have access to make any DNS changes or be able to recover the domain if it expires.

If your domain is managed by a third party you can either have them transfer your domain to our registrar or have them make the DNS changes.
If they also were the developers of your current/previous website and you will no longer require their services I recommend transferring your domain to our registrar.
If another person manages the domain, try and reach out to them. This may be a person who originally set up the website or the individual you worked with to build your website. Usually, they will be able to provide the login information or direct you to another person who may have the information.
If you previously had access to the login information and simply forgot you can try clicking the "forgot username?" prompt on your registrar's website or reach out to their support team.
Lastly, if it is impossible to contact the previous manager of the domain you can apply with your domain registrar to have the primary contact for the domain changed. You will need to verify that you are the legitimate owner. This can be a lengthy process and take up to two months to resolve.

No Problem!
If your domain uses custom nameservers it means your DNS records are managed outside of your domain registrar.
If you are transferring the domain to our registrar we will need to obtain a copy of the DNS records from where they are managed. You can find more detailed instructions on this page.
If you are keeping the domain where it is, we will need to get access to edit the DNS records on the custom nameservers. Usually, this means contacting the third party that is managing them for you.
If the DNS records are managed by your current website host and you will no longer need their services after we launch the new website, I recommend transferring your domain to our register.

To set up emails with your domain you will need to do a few things:
1. Set up a service like Google Workspace or Office365
2. Add the domain to your service and begin the domain verification process
3. Send us all the necessary DNS records that need to be added to the domain if we manage your domain
